Cookbook Summary
Summary
Create A Stir: Cooking and Collecting with Historic Flamingo Park, West Palm Beach, Florida is the work of dozens of residents of the Flamingo Park neighborhood. Given the many opportunities residents have to socialize around food — a long and happy tradition of Flamingo Park — the committee chose to focus this (first?) cookbook on a theme of “entertaining.” The book includes short sidebars on 10 of the 49 contributors, along with shorter notes from some contributors about the background or history of their recipes. And given that we are, after all, Flamingo Park, what better complement for the recipes would there be but the flamingo collections of our neighbors? Throughout the book are over 100 images, professionally photographed by a committee member, from the collections of 16 residents. Fast Facts Title: Create A Stir!
